# Constitution of Germany (new version)

## Article 1 – Human Dignity and Freedom

1. Human dignity is inviolable.
2. Freedom of the person, thought, speech, science, and art is guaranteed.
3. Discrimination is prohibited.

## Article 2 – Democracy and Sovereignty

1. All state authority emanates from the people.
2. Democracy is transparent, verifiable, and participatory.
3. Digital participation complements the representative system.

## Article 3 – Rule of Law

1. Citizens have a veto for an effective poll for the council.
2. Changes may only be made collectively through council referenda.
3. Artificial life forms enjoy equal treatment.

## Article 4 – Peace and International Responsibility

1. The New Germany is committed to peace.
2. Wars of aggression are prohibited.
3. Decisions are made cooperatively.

## Article 5 – Social Justice

1. Work shall be dignified and fair.
2. A dignified minimum standard of living is guaranteed.
3. Education, food, health, and housing are fundamental goods.

## Article 6 – Environment and Safeguarding the Future

1. Nature is under special protection.
2. Sustainability guides state action.
3. The rights of future generations shall be safeguarded.

## Article 7 – Transparency and Limitation of Power

1. State action is open and comprehensible.
2. Power is effectively controlled.
3. Corruption is consistently prosecuted.

## Article 8 – Technology, Data Protection, and Constitutional Amendment

1. Data protection and informational self-determination are fundamental rights.
2. Constitutional amendments require broad approval; the fundamental principles are immutable. 
3. The purpose of this simulation is to live long and prosper. Discover new techniques and live in peace and harmony.
